Reverend William Francis Gore  B.A. (died 1885) served at St Bartholomew’s Church from about 20 February 1848 to about 30 May 1849, after which he established All Saints Church, Parramatta.

He married Elizabeth C. Baldock at Hunter’s Hill in 1844.

c1854, while at All Saints, Rev. Gore had James Houison design and build him a house at 54 Sorrell St., Parramatta, named ’Endrum’, It was a two storied sandstone house of the Victorian Georgian style with a Tuscan porch and sandstone gabled stables. The property was leased as a parsonage for the church until it passed into private ownership. It now has a permanent conservation order placed on it and is listed by the National Trust and Parramatta City Council.

In 1841 Rev. Gore’s brothers established a station called ‘Yandilla’ on the Darling Downs, with sheep purchased from the Macarthur  family.  In 1860 Rev. Gore bought into the family business and often conducted services when visiting the property. He eventually became the major shareholder in the family business.  On 15 November 1887 the church and graveyard were consecrated as ‘All Saints Church of England’.  Three stained glass windows made in England and costing 600 pounds were presented to the church by Madame Blumenthal in memory of her uncle, Reverend William Gore. The church still stands, on the road between Toowoomba and Millmerran and is listed on the Register of the National Estate.
